Bone & Blossom Tattoo Studio

Sara’s tattoo journey began in 2018 at Heart and Skin tattoo studio in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she completed her apprenticeship. Returning to Chicago in 2019, she expanded her education at Knight Studios in Portage Park. With a BFA in Intermedia Art from the University of Iowa, graduating with Honors, and holding a minor in Women and Gender Studies along with a Certificate in Sustainability, Sara combined her artistic passion with a dedication to meaningful collaboration.

In September 2023, Sara fulfilled her vision by opening Bone & Blossom, a female-owned tattoo studio in the downtown district of Lombard, IL. From her early days as an apprentice to becoming a studio owner, Sara has always focused on forging genuine client connections and offering personalized experiences. Bone & Blossom is a welcoming, creative space where clients feel at ease, emphasizing inclusivity and maintaining a safe, hygienic environment for both clients and artists.
